Hi ,

We have a forest domain and a tree domain in the same forest . From the Tree
domain we log in as enterprise administrator and we tried to install the ADC
connector for exchange server 2003 . We are getting the following error.

An internal component has failed.
ID no: c103798a
Microsoft Active Directory Connector Setup

We verified the Active directory connector log and we are getting the
following error

[19:56:57] Leaving CEDSAdminComp::FPTExchangeAdminInstalledOntheBox
[19:56:57] Process created ... waiting (-1)
[19:56:57] Ignoring exit code 00000000

Error code 0XC103798A (31114): An internal component has failed.

Also we cannot access the NETLOGON & SYSVOL folder of the forest Domain from
the tree domain.
When we logged as enterprise admin and tried to access the Active directory
of the forest from the tree domain domain controller we are getting the
Access Denied error.

When monitoring the event log we get the event id 9182 and the message is

The description for Event ID ( 9182 ) in Source ( MSExchangeAdmin ) cannot
be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information
or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The
following information is part of the event: CHNWSDC03, Access is denied..
