How to start with Active Directory quickly for a small company with one
office currently and 10 employees? I know I have to read books about Active
Directory but is there a small document that helps to setup a new domain
quickly and then study the advanced features later. What are the best books
and resources about Active Directory. The new network is all based on
Microsoft products and the main objective is software development, Is there a
roadmap for using Microsoft products and integrate them to build a complete
secure network?

Start with Microsoft's Small Business Server. I have included a link to the
home site for this server, it sounds perfect for you environment.

You should be able to run Active Directory, Exchange and Share Point for
starters.
