Problems navigating Internet in Server 2003 |
|
|
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, I recently installed Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition,
I have an ADSL connection.
The computer connects to the LAN network perfectly, but when it tries to
access internet, no page is loaded.
I read the documentation and I added a site (www.microsoft.com) to the
trusted sites, and then I tried to load it but it never loads anything.
Is there something in the configuration I need to change to be able to
navigate Internet?
Thanks for your time!

Hi Coraleigh, in fact, I don't know why but I had to enter
the exact ip of the dns server to connect to Internet.
The other computers don't need that, but now everything
works perfect.
Thanks a lot!!

Re: Problems navigating Internet in Server 2003 |

Hi,
I just Installed Server 2003 and I want to use it to install ISA 2004 as a
proof server, so the requests run through My proof server and then replies
them, but I can't seem to have internet connection. The server has an
ethernet card for the LAN and it's connected to a wireless card for Internet
entrance. The Lan works fine, the other one...well it does not. Do u know
what is happening? another thing, I have another server that gives internet
connection to other computers and assign Ip addresses by dhcp, even at my
proof server.
Thanks in advanced,
Bets
