NTFS Error on E Drive |
|
|
Hi there,
Got a new install of SBS 2003 SP1 with two Western Digital SATA 250gb disks
mirrored, and three drives on these disks - c, d (pagefile) and e
(data/exchange)
I have been getting NTFS errors on here and it seems to affect files or
directories opened by the users at some point in that day. A reboot sees
these errors and puts them into found.0000.chk directorys
Is this a hardware fault or software?
TIA

Hi
Sounds like a hardware fault to me. Do you have any USB devices connected to
the server at all?

Hi
Sorry, I should have said USB Disk Drives and not Devices. :-)
I have seen errors created due to a USB Disk drive.
Have you tried updating the RAID controllers drivers? Have you looked in
Event Viewer for any Errors?

No there arent any USB drives on there, it seems to be limited to the E
Drive and happens quite sporadically?
It is taking data with it now however?
