Backup Started but takes a long time to finish |

The error i get from my sbs monitoring is this:
Small Business Server Backup started but has not yet finished. To view
backup status, click Backup in Server Management, and check for errors or see
if a backup is still in progress.
Why isn;t it backing up properly. I start my bakup at 11pm and we only have
100GB on the server? |

what kind of backup media are you using?
any errors in the event log?

It takes our VXA tape, backing up accounting files etc.. about 25 gigabytes
with verification (standard for SBS 2003 with the backup wizard) about 4.5
hours. You stated you backup 100 gigabytes if to tape you answered your own
question...
As Kevin asked... what are you using for a backup device, this would help
anyone listening better help you...
