Hi,

It seems like someone else has had this problem before but there was no
answer posted. Here's my problem. When I use any Office program to open a
document on a SharePoint Services document library over the extranet(only), i
get this error:

Microsoft Visual Basic
Run-time error '1177'
The document name or path is not valid.
Try one or more of the following:
• check the path to make sure it was typed correctly
• On the File menu, click Open. Search for the file using this dialog box

I have SSL enabled and running IIS6. Has anyone come across this? everything
else is working fine over extranet & SSL. The information i fouind on
microsoft.com isn't really helping.

Thanks in advance,
any help would be much appreciated.
