My client is using the Sharepoint Calendar on their SBS 2003 server. They
use it to track the appointments that are set for their sales force. They
aren't interested in sharing Outlook calendars. Appointments are set
centrally and the reps go to them according to the calendar. By and large,
reps don't set their own appointments.
Although this arrangement works, it's not very intelligent. Is there any
way to make these scheduled appointments notify the appointment setters if
there are conflicts or when an appointment is due via e-mail or other method.
And is there a marketing, appointment setting, tracking "plug-in" for
Sharepoint that I could purchase. I'm not a programmer. Thanks for reading
