Contacts and profiles |

Is there a way to create a contact list in a web part based on profiles
imported from AD?
Also
When using the pre-defined search scope "Find People" the results come from
all over the portal, not just People. Is there a trick to narrowing this
down? For example, if it were possible to set up a Content Source for People,
but I can't figure out how this would be possible. |

I just noticed that there's also a Content Source called People so that'll
probably answer the second part of my question. Don't know why the Search
Scope wasn't using it.

There isn't a way to create a contact list based off of the profiles
imported from AD. This functionality is not provided by default. With custom
development it could be easily done.

In sharepoint is not by default a web part component ProfileQueryUsers. I am
not sure how it works but pointing to name it should be same functionality.
