Need help getting MBSA mssecure.cab into my ISA 2004 server |
|
|
My MOM 2005 server cannot get the mssecure.cab file from
http://myserver/MBSA/mssecure.cab over to my ISA 2004 server. I'm sure it's
because ISA locking it out but I'm not sure what to tweak specifically for it
to allow just this type of transfer.

Hello,
Thank you for your posting!
Is it possible to add an exception on ISA server to allow any traffic from
MOM?
If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.

In ISA, under Firewall polices, there is a specific area to allow traffic to
and from MOM - pretty nice. I think it lets all the agent traffic just fine,
however it appears that the http stuff it may not allow. I added the http
address of my mom server to the firewall exception to see if that will fix
it. It runs every morning at 5:00 - I'll check tomorrow and see how it does.
