hey all,

i just did a clean install of windows 2003 server. i also made it an
application server. i can get to the sharepoint server administration site
just fine. the next thing i do is to try create a subweb. when i click on the
newly created subweb it gives me a "not authorized" iis message. did i miss a
step?

I had such error message because SP didn't set Execute permissions setting
to Scripts only or Scripts & executables for the correspondent web site. Go
check your configuration.
