Daniel,
I installed with this option cleared, but the computer does not appear in
Peding Actions on the Administrator Console. Let me explain you my scenario:
I have a Management Server in a mydomain.com, and the agent computer is in a
Workgroup named mydomain, not joined to mydomain.com. I install agent, and
during the installation I select the "Agent Control Level" to FULL and
"Active Directory Configuration" set to "Yes, I have .......", after finished
the installation, I never see this agent in the Pending Action on the
Management Servern and I can´t aprove the agente for install manually. I hope
understand me my problem. Thanks again.

Julio,

Your problem is answering yes to having Active Directory. That question is
actually asking whether to enable mutual authentication. You can't use
mutual authentication if you have agents that are in workgroups because they
will be unable to communicate. You must turn off mutual authentication in
the Global Settings of the Administrator console and then reinstall the
agent on the workgroup client. You will also need to update settings on your
other agents so that they will stop using mutual authentication. You will
have to restart the MOM service on the management server after you turn off
mutual authentication for the change to take.

David Tyra

David,
Thanks for your answer, but I have only a few computers that are in
workgroup, the rest of the computers (90%) are in a Domain. I also installed
this computers that are in workgroup with "Active Directory Configuration"
set to "No, my environment fits one of the following conditions", and the
problem continue. I can´t see this computers in the Pending Action on the
Management Server. I don´t know what´s happening. Thaks again...

Julio,

Is your management server set to require mutual authentication? If it
is, it will reject the communication from the agents in a workgroup.
You can still communicate with your agents in the domain without
requiring mutual authentication.
