problem with indexing and CMS site |

Hello,
I could not get an index for an Content Management Server web site running.
The error I'm getting is "The query returns nothing." Since I'm almost sure
that the settings are correct, I cannot figure out what's wrong. Thanks in

Burak-
Have you tried accessing the CMS site directly from the SharePoint server?
Have you tried requesting the specific URL of the CMS site such as
http://www.foo.com/default.htm? Is it set to allow enough hops into the
site? Could you post some additional info on the settings you have for your
index?
If you're using SharePoint to index your CMS site, make sure you take care
of the HTTP Header If-Modified-Since issue to not stress the CMS site out too
much (and to make the SharePoint Gatherer is indexing more effeciently).

Dear Mr. Connel,
Yes, I can access the CMS site directly from the SharePoint server. I can
also access the CMS site with the specific URL (default.aspx). You can find
the gatherer log below:

Sorry if I wasn't clear... could you please post the settings for the content
index you created? Not just the log, but the actual index.
Why are you pointing to default.aspx? If it's a CMS site, shouldn't you be
pointing to default.htm?
Have you tried creating a content index to index a different site (non CMS)?
If not, I'd suggest you try that first to make sure it's not a SharePoint
issue.
