Determining Window Server 2003 Security Policy for US Office |

I am posting this in the hope that someone will be able to advise me.
I am currently in the process of designing a Windows Server 2003 Active
Directory forest, comprising of two domains - the forest root domain will
reside in our UK office (London) and I will be placing a child domain in our
US office (Los Angeles) and I need to determine a suitable security policy
for the US domain.
The kind of thing, I need to understand is there anything particular which I
need include in the domain security policy for the US domain to meet local
security laws? I am planning to implement various extra policies, so I
should be covered - but of there is something I need to incorporate, I would
really appreciate any input.
