"My Site" "Property is Private" error has been discussed on this group
twice before but no one ever posted a definitive answer. When
non-administrators click on a My Sites for a user or a contact with a
My Sites page, they get an error.

Property Is Private: You do not have the rights to access this private
property.

I tried adding Domain Users to the authentication area but it did not
work. Is there another option that I can use without giving everyone
edit rights to other people's personal sites?

We were able to fix this error by giving "Manage user profiles......."
permission to the site group in which the users are

Dear Raul

We have the same problem. Where exactly did you set this right? We use an
other language than Englisch and I am not quite sure what permission you mean.

Coulden't solve the problem even when I set the specific user through
personal site websitesettings.
