Hi,
I have notices that some DNS servers listed in Name Servers tab of
_msdsc.rootdomain.local zone are followed by "*". As far as I know
this means that IP adressses of these servers are obtained via DNS
request and not by looking up in DNS zones. The DNS server of the root
domain is also market by "*".
Is it potentially dangerous situation ot it's ok.

Also could you send me a URL on how to configure DNS in Windows 2003
multidomain enviromnent: forwarding, delegation. DNS client
configuration. I ask since I 've noticed that there is discripancн
between W2K and W2003 DNS configuration so I want to get up-to-date
information.
