Multiple Instances of reporting |

I have multiple management groups that I'm trying to host on one large SQL
server. I have MOM2005 SP1 writing different Management Groups to different
SQL instances without incident, but I cannot do the same for reporting.
I have SQL reporting working for one management group and when I try to
install reporting for the second management group to a second sql instance I
fail the prereqs. I finally gave up and installed sql on the second
management server. I get through the install and SQL RS is found on the my
SQL box but when it gets to the instance for reporting it only seems to allow
a local install.
The way I read all the documentation we should be able to setup reporting to
a remote SQL instance; Does anybody have any idea why I've got this obstacle? |
