I still can't sign in with Communicator even though I have SP1, as
someone mentioned. The only lines in the trace file with "ERROR" are
the following:

12:08:56.593 6FC:FAC ERROR :: Self user not initialized.
12:08:56.593 6FC:FAC ERROR ::
COptions::LoadRoamingOptionsFromUserDataXML - Failed to load roaming
options. 0x80004005

And later:

12:08:56.671 6FC:FAC TRACE :: "GetFileVersionBin"() exiting, returning
0x80070002.
12:08:56.671 6FC:FAC ERROR :: CMSBLApp::LaunchWMIfNeeded() Could not
get the WM version.

Any ideas? Gratefully apprecatied!!

Update ... I got everything working! I had to enter the IP of the
client machines in the "Host Authorization" list and de-select "Treat
as Authenticated" option.

Is this normal?

I have seen your follow-up question. Is this a local user or a remote user?
Do you have the Active Directory radio button selected to enable remote
access for the user?
