I shared a folder called "common" on my Win 2003 server. After users mapped
this network folder to L: drive, we find out the name is very wierd.

Nomall, if I go to My Computer, I will see: Common on 'Server1' (L:)

But I see: Common on 'SER DC/GC/File/Print (Server1)' (L:)

Why is this L: drive name so long and so weird? How can I correct it so it
will show up as: Common on 'Server1' (L:)
