How do I get the CA to issue a FQDN instead of just the computer name?

I have the Autoenrolled Computer Properties set to Build from this Active
Directory information and the Subject name format set to Fully Distinguided
name. None of the other boxes are checked. Should i check DNS name as an
alternate subject name?? User principal name???

Thank you for any help on this!

I checked the DNS name as an alternate subject name but when i try to add a
transport type of TLS with the certificate I get the following error
message:

Live Communications Server requires a certificate that has a valid
certificate chain. Please select a new one.

I'm having this same issue with LCS 2005 Ent, i see that the above posted fixed his by using a certificate that matched the pool.

I am trying to activiate TLS on the server and get this error when trying to assign the certificate. The certificate name matches the pool name however it is an internally generated certificate, i've added our CA to the list of root CA on the server but it still doesn't seem to like it. Is it required to use an outside trusted root CA for TLS to work?
