No dropdowns for document library or documents |

A user created a new document library and saved documents to it. This
document library doesn't have the dropdown that allows you to View
Properties, Edit Properties, Check Out, etc. In addition, when I go to
"Document Libraries", the libraries in the list also do not have a dropdown.
Why and where can I change this setting? Other libraries I create on the
site do have the dropdowns. |

Thank you very much!! I looked high and low in settings but didn't notice
the different types of Name fields.

Can you explain this ? Do you mean the Doc Libs listed under the "Documents"
heading in the Quick Launch list ? (Those doc libs too might not have Name
listed in the default view)

The dropdown comes with the Name field.
Have you possibly a view of this one document library that does not include
the Name field ?
