Clustering NIC invalid address |
|
|
I am trying to configure two windows server 2003 for cluster service with two
NIC for public and private network, and i have the following problem:
when reboot the second node, the NIC for the public network has an error
message "invalid ip address".
If i disable and enable the connection is again able to connect to the
network.
Any ideas? |

Sounds like a bad driver or bad NIC. Have you tried replacing either?
Cheers,

Is this 2 NICs for Public and 2 NICs for Private...total 4 NICs? Or is this
1 NIC public and 1 NIC private...total 2 NICs?
If they're Broadcomm NICs, update to the latest/greatest drivers as the
default drivers don't do well when multiple NICs in the same server.

John
