I have configured MOM to send notification of erros via email to Windows 2003
server s administrators.
Because there are 2 administrator groups that manage different groups of
servers, they don't want to receive notofications for servers they don't
manage.

I would like to setup MOM to send email notifications to notification groups
according to the servers they manage (all servers are Windows 2003). Is there
a way of doing this?
Help please.

Hello,

Thank you for your posting!

Just configure the Event Rules that generate the specified alerts to the
specified operators.

If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.

You can use Notification Workflow Solution Accelerator

Hi Sergio

Create two computer groups and include the servers to it according your
admin groups

Then create two rule groups
bind 1 computer group to 1 rule group
ad the other computer group to the other.

Then create an alert rule which notifies the appropriate notification
group in each of the rule groups.

Now any alert generated for that computergroup from any MP will be e-
mail to the notification group

Configuring each rule to send notifications to the right people is a little
labor intensive. I think I'll have a look at the Notification Accelerator.

Thanks to all that replied.

With my procedure you don't have to do that
