I have stand alone windows 2003 server. I have set it up so that I can vpn
in to it. my problem is that the logon scripts do not run when my users
connect. Is there a way that I can create aconnection that will map some
network drives to there home machine when they log onto the network?

TIA
Josh

Making a VPN connection just establishes an IP connection. It is not a
login operation, so a login script won't run.

If you want to do a login, use the option in the login dialog window to
log in using a dialup connection. This will force a login as well as setting
up a VPN connection, and your login script should run.

Cisco VPN offers an option to initiate the VPN before the windows domain
logon, this will allow scripts and the like to run. For a straight Windows
solution, you can check the box "Log on using Dial-up connection" at the
windows domain logon screen.
