OWA fails to log in - Sharepoint in SBS2003 intranet page do |
|

Hey all, I dont know if this is the right area, if not I can post this into
the correct area.
i got a quick question, that I have spoken to a few people about, and no-one
seems to know the answer to this, so I was hoping you might be able to shed a
little bit of light on it for me.
I have seen this happen a few times, people running Windows 2003 SBS Server
with Exchange configured, we can not use OWA with all the latest service
packs.
When the OWA page is accessed internally or externally, it will not
authenticate the user including the Admin’s account. Via
http://servername/exchange
or
http://website/exchange
Hence the page loads correctly and you put in the users details including
the following form:
Username and password
Domain\username and password
Domain.local\username and password
It just simply states – You can not be logged in. Please check with
Admin...etc
However you can log into the Server and go to remote desktop and do all the
normal functions regarding authentication. It only happens when you go to
access OWA via the browser.
I have already recreated the OWA Files using KB article 280823 Method 1 for
Exchange Server 2003. Checked all permissions for the Server, and everything
seems okay…
Any idea’s?
It could be something to do with the whole Sharepoint Package, not sure, or
a Exchange Repair? Although it seems to run with authenticating with the AD
Possibly even DNS?
If anyone has come across this is would be great to hear from you.
Thanks in Advance |
