Excnge warning |

Rule :- Rule (enabled): Microsoft Exchange Server\Exchange 2000\Availability
and State Monitoring\Database Mounted Check\Failed to obtain Exchange
databases states.
returned the follwing warning and event data:-
System seems to be running ok and nothing in Event log.
Description:
Failed to get the state of the Exchange databases.
To determine the exact cause of this problem, look at the events associated
with this alert and find the most recent event.
The initial event reported that:
Failed to open Storage Group with CDO. ERROR: 0x80072032(-2147016654) An
invalid dn syntax has been specified.
Facility: Win32
ID no: 80072032
Microsoft CDO for Exchange Management
Can anyone say why this may have occurred.

Few things to check:
1) Do you have any MOM test mailboxes deployed and configured yet?
2) Is the mom service and action account running as local system?
3) Is that exchange server complaining about accessing AD?

Blake,
Thanks,
I have run the Exchange MOM wizard and the mailboxes are created. I can see
the successful events for mailflow and mailbox logon scripts work OK.
The MOM services on the Exchange servers are running as localsystem and
afaik there are no AD connection issues.
