RE: Group Policy for specific logons |

Hi Matt,
You say you created a new OU called 'Citrix' and a new policy for this OU,
but did you assign this new policy to this new OU so that it reads it FIRST?
I run different OU's with different policies, but you have to ensure that
the policies are applied in the correct order. If you go into Group Policy
Management on the SBS 2003 Server and click on the OU you have created called
'Citrix' have a look at the Linked Group Policy objects to check that the new
policy is being applied to that OU, and the click on Group Policy Inheritance
to check that your new policy is FIRST in the list of policies being applied.
Or if you've already tried this .... Hmm, not sure!

I am using a Windows 2000 Server (PDC) for our group policy and for all
the organisational units (OU) we have in place group policy its working
a treat.
But... we have 2 citrix servers that publish Windows 2000 so staff can
work from home (well thats the plan!...)
We want users to log on at work, and at home with the same username and
password. The issue i have got is that i need to lock down certain
parts of Windows when people log in from outside only.
I have created a new OU called 'Citrix' and created a new policy for
this OU, i have even moved the citrix severs into this OU but no matter
what i change in the group policy in this OU it still reverts to the
'main' policy...
Any help will be super!!!
Thanks
Matt
