is it possible to create a clustered server to share the processor load
instead of an application cluster for fail-over? for example having 2
computers in a cluster work together to share the processor load to run a
program to calculate PI?

Thanks in advance,

There are four types of clusters available from Microsoft. One of them is
the Compute Cluster. However, it is not released yet and it will only be
availble for certain applications.

Yes, the approximate value is 3.14, but the correct value ...

So I won't be able to configure my application cluster into one that shares
the processor load?

Correct, that is not possible. The model Microsoft uses is called the Shared
Nothing Model - and they mean it.
