Dear all,
I really need your kindly help about bottom:
There're 2 NT4.0 Server, act as PDC and BDC separately.
1.I want to copy all the share folders and printers from PDC to BDC, also
included in the ACL(permissions)
2.I want to stop WINS/DNS/DHCP functions on PDC and replace it with BDC,
what's the best way to restore all the databases (or settings)?

p.s.
I've already used tools like xcopy, robocopy, printmig.exe, there's always
some error occurred.
Could you tell me the right version of the tools I should use and the key
parameter when i run it under command line?
If you have ever dealed with such problem, please guide me as detailed as
possible.
Thank you very much.

Hi Robert,

Actually I still recommend you use robocopy to achieve your purpose 1.

Please refer to following article:

How to Use Robocopy to Copy Security Information Without Copying Any File
Data
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;323275

If you fails, please let me know the error message and I'll try to perform
research on it.

Regarding the your purpose 2, I'd like to suggest you post it at Newsgroup:
microsoft.public.windowsnt.dns which is a more appropriate for such issue
since our newsgroup mainly focus on the process of migration between 2
domains.

Thanks for understanding.

Best regards,

Vincent Xu
