When the "Search for Computers" tab of a CG is enabled, how can I find
out what computers have automatically become members? I would have
thought that they would be added into the "Included Computers" list but
that's not the case.
thanks...

do you also know if there is a command line tool (perhaps as part of
the reskit) that can produce this list? I tried RuleUtil.exe from the
reskit but that only lists the groups, not their members.
thanks again...

Josh,
Arie and David are right that the only way to see the list of computers in a
group if they have been discovered using a formula and when "Search for
Computers" tab of a CG is enabled, is via Operator Console. In large
deployment this makes sense.
For small deployment you can also manually assign computers into CG which
will show up in the included computers tab. You can simply add computers in
"included computers" tab to do so. However, I think it would have been better
if MOM showed member computer for each group in the details pane next to the
tree pane in Admin console.
Hope this helped you.

Select the computer group as the scope in the Operator console, and
then click the Computers and Groups node in the left-hand pane, and
then select Computers. The computers that are members of the group will
be displayed in the center pane.

Easiest way to do that is via the Operators console. There isn't really |
a way to do it via the admin console

Dipu,
I couldn't agree more. Where are the computers in my computer groups
has to be one of the most frequent questions that customers have after
installing MOM 2005. I would hope that Microsoft has taken note of that
fact.
