Can I have a two node Active / Active and load balanced Wintel Server
configuration, ie both servers are active as file servers, splitting the
load, and read/writing to a single instance of the file system (NTFS)

If not how can I deploy and Active/Active and Load balanced cluster, whilst
ensuring the integrity of the data (NTFS)

Simple answer no.

Other answers that are close - DFS, Network Appliance, NAS, multiple shares
on several clustered nodes.

I am curious as what your business need is.

Cheers,
