Definitely. When you install WSS it won't reconfigure any virtual site until
you tell it to. So go ahead and install WSS with SP2, then create a virtual
site in IIS, then when you are in the WSS config pages just select this
virtual site, it will lead you through a wizard where you create a content
db for that site. Just be sure not to select the default site and you'll be
ok.
