Re: Remote Connection to client computer |

NATs and firewalls prevent media and app-sharing by default. If the client
has UPNP control of their local NAT/firewall, then media and app-sharing can
work, but if the client is behind a NAT/firewall where it doesn't have
access to have ports opened and passed through, then this won't work. Try
pinging the remote machine (the address that it sees when it runs ipconfig
locally) as a quick way to determine if it might be reachable.

However there are some computers that do not allo the connection unless
someone is loged in the office computer the remote connection will log
them
off. That is the only way the connection is allowed. There are other
computers that do not allow any connection. Does any one know why the
remote
connection work on some client computers and not others. Do I have to do
somthing to the client computers to allow the connection? All client
computer
are on so that is not the problem.
Thanks... |
