Hello,

I'm migrating a group from BSD running Postfix & Courier IMAP to
Exchange 2003.

I'd like to setup the environmant so that both servers run
concurrently, and move users from one to the other gradually -- this
way I'll be able to move myself first and verify proper operation
before moving Sales group, executives, etc.

Can anyone suggest a [popular] procedure that involves, for example:

1. Build the Exchange server;
2. Setup postfix to forward, say one user (me) to the Exchange
server;
3. Test;
4. Move remaining users, one at a time;
5. Point MX mail relay from old Postfix server to new Exchange
server.

Does that sound reasonable?
Thanks!

Hi

Since our migration newsgroup mainly focus on the process of migration
between 2 domains.

I think following newsgroup:

microsoft.public.exchange.setup

would be a more approprate place for such Exchange migration issue. Thanks
for understanding.

Best regards,
