Hi,
I am experiencing problems re-booting SBS remotely from the Start menu. The
server shuts down and doesn't re-boot. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you saying you select to restart the server, but instead it completely
shutsdown? Does this mean iut's powered off and soneone has to come in and
power it back on? How are you connecting to the server? Are there any error
messages in the event log or on the console screen?

Hi Kevin,
I am connected via VPN to the server and was just about
to install the new MS patches which I normally re-boot the server first
from the Start/Shutdown/Restart. The server powered off and I had to get
someone to go in and power it back up. The only message in the Event log
was that the log stopped.
I then installed the patches and re-booted and had the same problem. I live
150Klm away from the site and am still awaiting for someone to go in and re
start the server.
Is it better to reboot from the MMC?
