Hi

I am about to undertake a migration of Windows 2000 SBS to Windows 2003
SBS from old clone server to a new HP ML350

I have chosen to follow the path due to the old server being setup
totally incorrectly by a previous support company. Also which to change
the Domain Name.

The site has 20 users and 20 workstations running Windows XP and Windows
2000

1) I will build the new server offsite with windows 2003 SBS and all
relevant patches.

2) I will create all 20 users again since we wish to change the naming
convention example : ChrisB to Chris.Bradley

3) Will create new empty home folders on the new server for each user
and migrate the data from the old server for each using a File Sync
program like http://www.fileware.com/products.htm#FileSync

4) Also migrate single General folder for company data using the file
sync program

5) Then create all NTFS and share permission correctly as this was
totally done badly by the previous support company

Need advice on the following

6) I need to moved the exchange data for each user to there new mailbox
on the new server? I was thing of using Exchange Migration Wizard or
ExMerge?

7) Also I need to migrate the 20 workstations to the new domain and
still preserve user profiles? Including IE favourites, Outlook Settings
etc , Desktop Shortcuts -

I was thinking of logging onto each workstations onto the new
domain as the new username to create a profile

then

to logon as a local administrator and copy old my documents ,
Internet Favourites , cookies and desktop contents to the new username
profile in the new domain . Then configure Outlook again for the new
domain

Is the above possible without visiting the workstations or a
more recommend method

Thanks

Tony
