Is it possible to use MOM to run a script on a machine it monitors?
What I am looking to do is to stop and start certain services on a
machine that MOM monitors.

Thank you

In the Administrator Console you can create a command line task for this...

I don't have all the details on creating the task but your looking for
something like.....

cmd.exe /c "sc \\$TargetComputer$ start service"

You don't say whether you want this to happen as a
response to an event - if so just define a rule with the
appropriate response - if you want to run a script then
you need to code the script in MOM and it will be
deployed for you - if you want to run a "command" then
you'll need to get the code to the target machine yourself

I am looking to trigger the event manually, from MOM on a managed
server.

The event would be...

stop service x
stop service y
stop service z
start service z
start service y
start service x

Thanks
