Hello,
Is is possible to display a view through the web console rather than
operator console? I'm collecting login attempts for a set of servers and
would like to publish the view available in the operator console to the web.
Any ideas?
Thanks |

Hello,
Thank you for your posting!
You can install MOM Web Console by using the MOM Product disk.
Also, You can use Reporting console to export the report to difference
format
If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.

Out of the box it only displays alerts as far as I know. It's pretty
limited, but you may be able to enhance it with some knowledge of the SDK.
The next version of MOM should have a much improved web console (and perhaps
seperation so that you don't have to install it on a management server).

I do not think the Web Console supports custom views since it does not
retain any changes made to the default views (Alerts, Computers,
Events) if you navigate away from the changed view. I could be wrong
though as I have never actually tried to do this. However, you might
look at the MOM SDK because the Web Console was built using the SDK so
the product team has said that you should be able to create your own
web console. That would indicate that you could create a new console
that contained whatever views you wanted.
