I am trying to setup a Windows 2000 Advanced Server to use Network Load
Balancing. Once I go through the setup, I can run "wlbs query" and it says
everything is fine. If I run "wlbs display" on the other hand, I see that
under the port rules it says "bad rule code". And no traffic is getting to
the host for the cluster.

I want the machine to join a cluster with a Windows Server 2003 machine, and
I have tried configuring the cluster on both machines (the first time on the
2003 box, the second time I tried to create the cluster ONLY on the 2000 box).

The server is completely up to date according to Windows Update.

Any ideas?

You need to call Microsoft support and ask for the hotfix associated with KB
906885 which is not public yet but there is a hotfix.
