Clusters and firewalls/port filtering |
|
|
Hi all,
What are the recommendations w.r.t. MSCS clusters (W2k3 EE), and
Firewalls or Port filtering? Good? Bad? Do? Don't?
Thanks a bunch

I personally found this blog post to be most helpful
http://msmvps.com/clustering/archive/2005/08/11/62372.aspx
I never use port filtering, I like real hardware firewalls. As far as
firewalls go, a cluster is really like any other server on the wire. Sorta
:)
Cheers,
Rod
