Update rollup 1 for Win2k service pack 4 KB891861 wants to keep installing. I
install it and reboot and a few minutes later it tells me the update is ready
to install anybody else been having this come up?

I'll give a try funny thing is that KB891861 doesn't show up in add/remove
programs.

you may want to try downloading the Update Rollp separatelly and then
installing it by running the file yourself.

sometimes when installing updates through WinUpdate or SUS the update
generates erros/warnings which are not shown and the process simply seems to
fail.
this has happened to me already.

Performing a manual install of the Update always seemed to help work out the
problem.

maybe it didn't get installed or you may have to attempt to remove it
through the windows update website.
