My client currently has about 2500 desktops (mostly XP pro) and about 50 NT
4.0 domains. They are finally upgrading their architecture and we will be
moving to WIN 2003 AD in the next few months. We already have and AD domain
at their Corporate HQ and all 50 NT domains will become part of this domain.
My question is this. Is there anyway to automate the XP PCs to join the
existing WIN 2003 AD domain. Does ADMT allow make this possible? I would
think we can't script because how could we run an automated script if we
weren't part of a domain to logon to and run it. Right?
I'm pretty much expecting having to touch every PC manually but since there
are a lot of migration tool and tricks, I thought I'd see if there was
something out there I wasn't aware of.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

ADMT does this for you when you migrate the workstations.
It is possible with ADMT to migrate everything without a single visit to the
workstations. Nothing else to say really.
