FRS - Large Files get renamed |
|
|
I have gone through it all and setup FRS however large files say between 3
and 16mb are being replicated but the original is being renamed to a random
name and never changes back to the original name. as an example - File
1234.xls in site A is replicated to sites B, C and D as file 1234.xls but in
site A the file name is now bbbn. I have been unable to find any information
on this. Any help is appreciated.
Replication is on constantly over WAN links of 2mb E1 lines. |

Are you running the latest FRS hotfixes on these servers? I believe an Excel
issue was fixed in a QFE.

From what i can tell it is. All servers are Win2003 sp1 that are involved
with the replication.
