VPN and MSSQL/Applicatins, newbie problem |
|
|
Hi Im new to VPN's but Ive managed to set up my 2 servers with it. Im running
a game that requires a person to log into an authentication app, then log
into the game server itself. I am running my MSSQl databases on server #2,
and the game on server #1
Now I have it running fine, the data goes from server #1 through the VPN to
server #2's data but I cant go any farther. Normally Id have to forward ports
if I was running this on a normal LAN.. is there a way to do this with VPN?
Is this even possible, to run applications through the VPN or am I way off
target here?
Thanks for your time |

I am confused are you just trying to encrypt the data between the 2 servers
or are you trying to get users to login to the servers using vpn?
