Doc lib - Preview document when edititng properties |

Here's my problem:
I have a document library where people need to edit properties in
time. Is it possible to preview the document at the same time when i
edit the properties of the document.
All the documetns are in pdf format, without exceptions.
At this moment, people first have to click the document, preview it,
pres the button "previous" in their browser, search the document in
the doc.lib, edit properties. save and close.
I have tried to add a pageviewer webpart in the "editForm.aspx" file
but it doesnt work.
Any suggestions?!
