Hi,

I have an evaluation copy of windows Server 2003 which will be expired in
few days, and I've got a new License for it. Do I have to re-install the
Windows Server or it will ask me for the license key only?

Please help.

Thanks for your ccoperation

Is the Evaluation version Enterprise?
If so, the new must also be Enterprise.

From the Desktop insert the new CD and follow the prompts for an upgrade.
You must use the new CD and Product Key.

Thanks for your response. Yes it's Enterprise. One last question: Am I going
to loose any settings or installed applications, and what about the active
directory?

All data, settings etc should be safe.
Back-up important data just in case.
