Re: Integrate client windows messenger Web Server |

Unfortunately, no. However, there is usually a way to get around things.
Two possibles:
1)
It *may* be possible to use a Citrix (www.citrix.com) server , if you have
such a thing in your environment, to provide web-based access to Windows
Messenger. If you do not, then Citrix is too large of an expense.
2)
There is a company, eDial (www.edial.com) that makes a web-based client for
LCS, the eDial IM Web Access Server
(http://www.edial.com/IM_Web_Access_Server.htm).
This can be included on a web page, or even built as a web part into a
SharePoint site. Their web client has a similar look and feel to the
Windows Messenger client.
Note: eDial was purchased by Alcatel in September. You may want to take
the time to verify that they will continue with R&D on this product, should
you decide to purchase it.
