Hello,
I have added a datasheet webpart to a web part page and I am trying to
configure the data source. In the browser view I click the 'connect to
external data' link and I get the 'Select Data Source' box. I click 'New
Source', and then choose 'Data Retrieval Services' and then 'Sharepoint
lists'.

Once I specify the location I get the list of lists in sharepoint. Selecting
a list usually then takes you to a window where you can choose the fields
from the list that you are interested in. All the lists in my sharepoint area
adhere to that rule - except one, and its the one I need.

I have one list called Projects, it has about 300 rows in it, and about 50
columns. If I chose the Projects list the next window where I would choose
the columns I want comes up blank.

I have done this before without issue, and have still functioning pivotviews
elsewhere in the shareopint that are still working. I have not set any
specific security on this list, and I am the administrator.

The data can be used regularly via the sharepoint interface.

What broke? Anyone know?

Mark
