Virtual server cluster question |
|
|
I am running an Exchange 2003 cluster. I have all the proper MP's imported. In
our 2 node cluster, I deployed the agent to each individual node. The Virtual
server showed up in The Windows Server Cluster Compters group as planned, and
I right clicked on it and clicked managed. So all that is working. The
problem I am having is every morning in the pending actions section, the
virtual server keeps showing up wanting to add the agent. If I reject this,
it comes back the next day. I have a feeling one of the guys I work with
tried to install the agent on the virtual server at some point. Not sure if
this helps, but I have a comouter (not in a cluster) that I removed the agent
from and deleted from unmanaged computers, but it keeps showing back up the
next day in unmanaged computers, and pending actions to install the agent.
Any ideas as to what is causing these issues and how to resolve them? Thank
you for your help. |

Are you using Manualmc.txt? If so don't at the Virtual servers to that
file.

Hi
have you deleted the discovery rule for that machine?? (If not it will pop
up after the daily computer discovery.)
are you sure that the agent is properly uninstalled on that machine??
(control panel -> add/remove programs does the trick)
best regards
