Re: DFS root replication ? |

If the single root server goes down, the namespace is not available. Any
attempt to access \\domain\root will fail for clients.
To increase redundancy of a domain DFS namespace, we recommend using
multiple root targets (but do not enable FRS replication on them).

What happens if my DFS root server goes down? Do I have to reconfigure a
new root server, will my DFS still be available. What are the
repercussions of this event?
