I am in the process of moving to windows 2003 AD I have 95-xp clients
Is there anything I have to do or be aware of with my older 95-98 clients

You'll need to point them to a DNS server for name resolution, you should
still support WINS and it is probably best to install the DS client on them.

I assume that you'll need to configure them to point to the new domain, as
9x clients don't have computer accounts -and therefore most probably don't
migrate with the NT 4 and 5.x boxes.

Kahlan

the 95/98 clients can participate in a W2K3 AD, but they will effectively
operate as though it's just a NT4 domain, i.e. need to access PDCE for
password reset need to logon with domain\username rather than name@domain,
etc.
There is an AD client for 95/98 that will allow some things such as AD site
awareness, access to DFS on W2K/2K3, ADSI scripts and NTLM v2, but to take
full advantage of the domain upgrade (group policy, kerberos authentication
and more) a later OS is needed.
So should work ok (subject to testing of course), but no significant gain on
the client side.
